Here is the leader of the rootmen.
Modeled in maya using "live" snap option on a poly surface. I draw curves on my base rootman. Then extruded...
Leaves are generated with Particule flow in 3dsmax using 4 different instances. The extra roots were modeled in maya and texturerd in Zbrush.
Rendered with mental Ray in maya.
